Easily the most towering twin homage to tumescence, the San Remo in NYC is the epitome of prewar awesomeness.  Loads of famous prewar aficionados rest their weaves here including Demi Moore and Steven Spielberg.  The late, great Steve Jobs also had a place too. Speaking of fab neighbors, not only could one re-stage scenes from king kong in those towers, you could get your neighbor, Bono to score the whole thing (he has lived here for a while).
